Is the Chelsea project broken?
Hi, even if you’re not a Chelsea fan, some of the issues there will strike a chord. In the latest episode of The Football Boardroom, ex CFC exec Christian Purslow and I debate whether the Chelsea project is broken? Under BlueCo, Chelsea have an inexperienced coach, a team lacking an experienced leader, sporting directors who have produced an imbalanced squad, boardroom issues, disconnect with loyal fans, stadium impasse, concerning financial numbers…. Chelsea could, of course, still finish in the Champions League places and win the FA Cup (if unlikely). But the story of the Blues is worrying.
