Henry, I always liked KWP and thought he would achieve great things at Spurs. Unfortunately Steve Hitchen thought otherwise and along with so many other calamitous decisions he was shipped out and we had to endure Serge Aurier.
You did have some good right backs. Trippier, Walker etc. not aurier, totally agree. Very frustrating. Trippier still has an issue with Levy. KWP good right back but I was never quite sure whether he had the strong personality like a Trippier or Walker. Good luck tonight.
Tonight and Saturday are games to be endured ahead of next week. That said, a performance is needed, although as someone of the same generation as you, I can’t help but have fond memories of the Clough & Taylor miracle. What a team that was….
I think the bond is broken regardless of what happens in Europe. I know people talk a lot about the amazing start he had last season, but the team really rode their luck…Sheffield United and Liverpool at home and Luton away spring to mind. I would prefer any change to be made in summer 2026 when after the World Cup there will be a greater selection of candidates to choose from. If it is to happen this summer, I would try for Klopp and Alonso and when that doesn’t work, go for either Parker or Carrick. Preferably Parker who knows the youngsters from his time in the academy.
Usual Monday quality Henry. KWP will be a good signing for someone. Trent can do what he wants. Clubs get rid of players when they want so he is doing nothing wrong.
Bristol City doing great things. Amazing if they make playoffs.
Those West Ham players get away with murder. What a mess. Such poor signings and money wasted again. Potter made no difference and football is awful. Needs a good shake up that club. No problem with what Fulkrug said.
Football ticket prices in US just reflecting America itself at the moment. So expensive. The increase in cost has shot up so much.

I can’t see him staying on but of course there’s compo, who to get in and outcome of the EL final

Spurs so poor last night. Ange didn’t respond to Nuno changes.

More good football this week. Enjoy.
